from UCC.
Nothing obvious in the full accounts relating to purchase of RAK Energy
shares (decided in 17 Dec 2007 BOD meeting).
17 December 2007
BOD meeting 09 December 2007 reported that
Abdullah Saeed Al Sayah / Sayyah was appointed as General Manager from 01
January 2007 since the management contract of Heidelberg Cement expired on 31
December 2007. Presumably UCC meant from 01 January 2008, and that Magnus Dalen
is no longer serving as General Manager, although that wasn't stated.
UCC have decided to invest in 35% of RAK Energy's authorised capital of
AED 500 million which would be AED 175m, but that wasn't explicitly stated
(see Union Cement
buys RAK Energy stake).
23 March 2007
Abdullah Sayah is CEO according to ADSM
Volker Schneider is General Manager according to April 2005 report.
Magnus Dalen is General Manager according to June 2006 report.
