Oman Emirates Investment Holding Company is an investment company with several
subsidiaries and stakes in other companies. It has investments mostly based
in Oman but also some in the UAE.
OEIHC Group and Parent
The OEIHC Group includes the OEIHC Parent company and the
OEIHC subsidiaries as far as we can see from the financial accounts, which
include Income Statements and Balance Sheets etc for both the Group and the
Parent.
OEIHC listings
There are two listings for OEIHC on the Muscat Securities
Market (MSM) with symbols OEIO and OEIE.
OEIO appears to be for Omani nationals
only and OEIE for UAE nationals.
Therefore, OEIE must be the dual listing for Oman & Emirates
Investment on MSM and ADSM.
OEIHC shares are infrequently traded on the ADSM
and are about as active on the MSM.
The OEIO share price is substantially
higher than the OEIE share price. It is not clear why. The OEIE share
price quoted on the MSM corresponds roughly to the share prices on the ADSM.
See www.msm.gov.om for
OEIO information on the MSM website, or www.msm.gov.om for
OEIE information - which is just price data, not much
else. The OEIO listing has all the company information etc.
ESCA website says foreign ownership is permitted but a percentage figure
is not given. ADSM website says no foreign ownership is permitted, 100% for
Nationals.
Other notes
MSM website has chairman's name as Mr Khalil Mohamed Sharif.
CEO's name (Awad Bamakhalef) from press release when OEIHC first listed
on the ADSM. The MSM
website lists Awad Mohammed Bamkhalif as Executive President.
Chairman's name also written as Khalil Foulathi.
