Comments about Emaar Properties PJSC FY 2002 results
Date results released unknown but auditor's report and director's report are both dated 16 January 2003.
Massive drop in Total Assets and Shareholder's Equity of AED 11.3 billion is due to change in accounting policy effective 01 January 2002 where land donated by the government of Dubai is valued at a nominal cost of AED 1 dh instead of fair market value, as in previous years.
Other Income for FY2001 has been restated from AED 277,758,000, and Net Profit for FY 2001 has been restated from AED 449,200,000.
An interim dividend of AED 0.50 per share was paid during 2002 and another 0.50 per share proposed to make a total of AED 1 dh per share (10% of par value 10 dhs per share).
