It is possible (that's not the same as saying it's easy) to trade shares in other markets. Some have more restrictions than others and as a generalisation, it's probably going to be difficult to get things set up unless you physically go to the market you're interested in. Online trading is still developing (as of December 2005) so investigate that carefully if you intend to trade online, bearing in mind that if there's a problem with your account, you may not be able to solve it without physically visiting the broker concerned.
